We have eaten well three times in May 2009 at Brizo's on The Island at Lake Travis -- Thursday night pasta buffet and Mothers Day brunch in the restaurant, and Sunday lunch in the bar area. We have loved all of the delicious food prepared by Chef Mark Price each time, particularly the full brunch buffet with the kind omlet sous chef. The Brizo's owners and staff are all courteous and warm people, and the stone walls and view of Lake Travis make a great atmosphere so we plan to tell our friends and come back often.

My husband and I went to Brizo's with friends Friday night. What a delightful experience!! The food was wonderful! I had the sesame seed crusted salmon and my husband had the filet mignon. Both were cooked to perfection....best salmon I have had in a long time! The view of Lake Travis was spectacular and the atmosphere was warm and friendly.

We are pleased to report that Brizo's is gorgeous! What a perfect addition to The Island. The lake view from the dining room is outstanding, and surpassed only by the amazing cuisine. Thank you, Chef Price and Brizo's, for a perfect Sunday brunch. We can't wait to come back again.

Hey folks! I am a Lago Vistan and I must say that I have just about had dinner/lunch everywhere in the 78645 zipcode. NOTHING so far has even come close! Fantastic grill and dining menu options. All of which are a mouth-watering delight!!! The Chef shows extreme professionalism and apparently has had a top notch culinary education. I will go back over and over and have recommended Brizo's to many!

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the Open House you all had. Been hearing a lot about your place and what a delightful experience! Friendly staff, great view and hear that the karaoke on Friday nights is lots of fun. Will return and bring some friends to enjoy your fine restaurant! Good luck to you all and Happy Holidays.

Suggest you get a piano player to play quietly in the restaurant area during the dinner hour. Supplement with tips.
Ate at the restaurant last night. Food excellent. I had the Yellow Fin Tuna and my husband had the pasta. Generous portions. Service could be improved upon. Drinks took a long time to arrive and I would have had more if anyone had ever checked. Also bread with meal would be good and a little coffee or after dinner drink with dessert would be good but no one asked.

Just wanted to say that I just spent 3 nights at The Island. The 24-27 of June. I'm from Houston, but stationed in California. I took some R&R and my wife booked us at The Island. I've been there 2 other times before and this was the first time I went into Brizo's. Donnie the bartender was an awesome host to my wife and her friend, to include myself. He really knows his drinks. I really enjoyed it here at The Island. Keep up the good work.
